Because Tomorrow is Never Guaranteed

We have a panther cat named L’il B.

He’s sleek and smart as can be.

            Though his legs number 3,

            A happier cat you’ll not see.

Oh how we love our l’il B

Our one-eyed panther head butts when asked,

But to lap cuddles he gives a quick pass.

            He sits up and begs

            With only 3 legs,

Life with L’il B is a blast.

L’il B enjoys a taste of the nip

It gives him a nice bit of zip.

            Then he flips out with his mousie,

            On a rug in the housie,

Until he is ready to un-flip.

L’il B relishes a good feed.

As head cat he’s always in the lead.

            But when he asks me to play,

            I stop work right away,

Because tomorrow is not guaranteed.
